 The advertising for the game was misleading! July 21, 2010

This game is not like the type of balloon game where you line up a line and get a balloon color and have to bounce it off a wall and a bunch will all disappear if you get a huge combo. It is totally opposite. You have to meld together balloon colors that are there to make them go away while more balloons are being added of different colors at the same time. Not that fun. Graffics stink. And I have both a ds and dsi xl tried on both and graffics still stink.
i do not recommend this game at all.

I bought this game thinking it would be a lot like a game I used to play on my PC in college, where you match 3 like balloons and get rewards and power-ups that fall out of the balloons you pop. Unfortunately, this game is entirely different. It took me a little while to figure out how to play it, as the directions were not really clear. Apparently, you are to get as many like colored balloons together to pop before the timer runs out. The higher the level, the quicker the balloons appear on the screen. Once I figured out how to play, the game is fun for a little while, but becomes repetitive. In addition, my eyes start to hurt from staring at the small balloons and in some cases, very subtle differences in color between them. I suggest only buying this game if it is on sale, as this one will not provide hours of lasting entertainment.

After struggling for hours trying to figure it out I finally gave up. I bought it new and had the instructions (the book - can't say it was helpful at all!). I play all sorts of puzzle games and it's pretty rare that I cannot at least figure out how to play. I gave this to my 13 yo who is an excellent gamer and she didn't like it either.
Perhaps if we'd of been able to figure out exactly how to play and been successful we'd have liked it more--but it appears really complicated and hard to get the hang of - not to mention frustrating! I find myself giving this a 1 star rating - which in my book means stay away - far far away - from this title.

I ordered this game for my 6 yr old son. It is a little difficult to play and I really don't see what is fun about it..maybe we will understand it better after we have had it a while. We are new to the Nintendo DS so maybe thats the problem? I would not recommend it to anyone but if you want to give it a try please don't let my review stop you..we are not gamers. My son is however having a great time with MarioKart.
