I bought 8 of the duracell rechargeables, and after only a few uses, 4 will no longer recharge. This compares with dozens of uses from some other brands

I think these batteries are a good value for the price paid on Amazon. They seem to work as advertised.

These newer batteries are great. Can be used immediately after opening 'cause they will be around 80-90% charged. A perfect match for the La Crosse Model BC 900 charger. Usually can be found on sale somewhere.
